Do's
Ensure it is kept on a stable, flat surface to avoid tilting or damage. Clean the mandir regularly using a soft dry cloth to remove dust. Keep diya and oil lamps in a safe, stable holder and clean any oil spills promptly. Use lightweight idols and decor to avoid overloading shelves. Place incense sticks in holders to prevent ash from falling on surfaces. Utilize storage drawers for pooja items like camphor, matchsticks, and oil bottles.
Don'ts
Do not place the mandir near windows where sunlight can fade wood polish or paint. Avoid placing near water sources (sink, washbasin) to prevent moisture damage. Do not keep excessively heavy idols or objects that the structure can't bear. Avoid chemical-based cleaners that can damage wood, polish, or paint. Do not leave burning diyas or incense unattended. Avoid placing fabric decorations too close to open flames. Do not drill extra holes or alter the structure it can weaken the unit
